Total rubbish from start to end September 10, 2008 My advice to you is don't! If you are like me, I really like to try to get to the end, and unfortunately, this was just good enough to keep me going, thinking something better must come - it didn't. It is sickly sweet, Irish Catholic, drivvel. It actually made me depressed at the end, not what you want from a "happy ever after" ending surely! Much better reads out there!
Past Secrets May 9, 2008 This book was a bit okay at the beginning but now i love it i can't put it down it's really got going.
Boring! September 27, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love a good read but this was nothing like I was hoping for. All of the secrets that the book hinted at turned out to be so dull and uninteresting and the pace was very slow. There are very few books that I don't bother to finish but this was one of them - literally a waste of my time reading it. Sorry Cathy!
a great book! August 25, 2007 I really loved this book, Cathy Kelly has a wonderful style of writing. I especially loved Maggie, she was my favourite!
BORING BORING BORING! July 27, 2007 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
This was the first and I must say the last, Cathy Kelly book I have bought. I think the descripton on the back page is totally misleading. What was so great about the past secrets??? I've read far better books which reveal past secrets of the characters which are far more shockable than these were. A total waste of money. I usually pass on my books to my friends but I wouldn't pass this on to my worst enemy!
