An excellent reference to the new observer to clouds, it lists all cloud types, together with their sub groups which is most helpful. It written in and easy going way that makes the subject interesting. The cloud point awards are an extra incentive to alway look towards the sky

This could just be viewed as a stand alone book being full of informative information but is best used in conjunction with Pretor-pinney's main book on cloud formation and identifictaion.The Cloudspotter's Guide. Probably one of the best aspects of this book is that it is pocket sized.
