At first you think that having broken your bad habits, the weight loss will happen quickly and you are disappointed that it doesn't! But if you take time to think about it properly, you didn't put the weight on overnight, so maybe your expectations are too high.
Anyone who expects miracle results fast is setting themselves up for a fall, so DON'T. The miracle is happening inside your head. You feel in control around food and you are happy with a "take it or leave it" attitude.
The real miracle is that your attitude towards food is changing, you are no longer controlled by food.

I bought this book thinking why not - I've tried weight watchers, green days and red days, cabbage soup etc etc. Having nothing to loose and remembering that I stopped smoking successfully 5 years ago with a self hlep book (by Allen Carr) I thought why not try one for my weight?
When I started I was 17st 7lbs. In my first two weeks I lost almost a stone - that isn't the amazing thing though. The amazing thing is that I feel fantastic, my skin is better, I am eating absolutely anything I want - not missing out on a thing. But I am in control of my eating now. There is no will power involved and I haven't felt like this since the day I realised I wasn't chained to the fags any more.
Even if you are a sceptic this will work - ask my mum - who saw the difference in me and then went on to try it herself and is seeing fantastic results.
Paul McKenna offers a long term solution that isn't painful, invasive or scary. I would recommend this book and CD to anyone who wants to feel better about themselves. The weight loss programme makes you feel happier and more in control of your eating habits.

I am a 57 year old who had been a stone overweight for the last 15 years despite following a healthy diet and walking regularly. After 4 months, I can honestly say that this is a life changing book/CD. What Paul manages to do with the CD and book is to create a 'mental gastric band' which enables you to eat whatever you want and still achieve and maintain your ideal weight. He also develops the desire to exercise ...I now do one of the '10 minute' dance videos every morning but I look forward to and enjoy exercise in a way I didn't used to. You do have to read the book and listen to the CD but it is a small price to pay for the amazing results... 4 months on it has become a way of life, I am a size 12, feel amazing and am constantly told how fantastic I look.10 Minute Solution - Dance Your Body Thin [DVD]
