Really enjoyed it! April 15, 2008 As all the murder club books I have really enjoyed it! Mind you I read anything!
i liked it November 26, 2007 Ok it wasn'tthe most indepth book have written and there were a few points where you did think what wasthe point of that but to be honest I like books where things get to the point quickly, as a mother of two I dont always appreciate books that take two pages to discribe a tree (you know what I mean) The story was gripping and I really wanted to see where the end took me and to me thats all that really counts
An absolute page turner November 20, 2007 Judging by the other reviews on this page, I must be one of the few people who think that the Women's Murder Club books have improved since the new partnership with Maxine Paetro. I thought this was definitely the best in the series so far, and I couldn't put it down. Okay, it's a given that they're not the best written books in the world, but if its just a bit of excitement and escapism you're looking for, then this is perfect.

I cant say anything different from my other reviews without repeating myself. James Patterson has done it again and I cant wait to read the next in this series.
Should have read these in order! February 7, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Unfortunately, I read 4th of July before 3rd Degree, so when it referred to already having lost one of the main characters, I was a bit in a the dark having to do a process of elimination as I made my way through the book to see who'd been written off.
I'd let my husband read this book before me, (he's not one for reading but decided whilst on holiday that maybe he ought to try and get into it, so he wasn't a total book widower). I gave him 4th July to read hoping that he'd enjoy Patterson's style and...I was right! Now if this can make my normally non-reading husband interested in reading, then it can only get the thumbs up from me. I would hear him mumbling things like, 'well I didn't see that coming' which only made me want to hurry up and read it too.
When I did get my hands on it, I certainly found it equally enjoyable although having read it out of sequence, it kind of spoiled the surprise, (shock?), of who had been bumped off when I came to read 3rd Degree.
Having read some of the previous reviews about this book, I realize that I may be in the minority of those who thoroughly enjoyed this and the whole Women's Murder Club series but hey.....I love them! Well done Mr. Patterson, another great read and you may even managed to convert my husband into a bookworm of the future!
