This book was recommended by several friends and is a fantastic aid to learn Spanish. It is a really good resource to learn the basics and the finer aspects of the language.

This book was recommended to me by the Open University for my beginner's Spanish course. I am looking for a good grammar book at the moment because this one really let me down in my studies! I fully agree with other reviewers' criticism.

We have had this little book for 3 years.We have dictionaries, major Spanish grammar books, but nowhere can you find such a concise summary of the little foibles of Spanish grammar, and the nightmare of 14 tenses. We are at intermediate level, and are off to Argentina next week. This book cones with us.

I bought this from my Open U Spanish for Beginner's course and to be honest, I hardly used the book. It is not well laid out and seriously, you can get by the course without even using it. There are sections in the course that refer to pages in this book but most of the information you can get off the internet or ask another student for the relevant pages. Waste of money.

As one of the set books for my OU course, I don't find it that easy to use, or maybe I am easily confused! I would possibly shop around next time when buying a Grammar book.
