 great book but exactly the same as 'sisters of the dark moon' August 6, 2008
this book is a great book as the other reviewer quite rightly says.
but it has exactly the same content as gail woods 'other' book 'sisters of the dark moon, 13 rituals of the dark goddess'
i really do think amazon or the publishers should make people aware that it is the same book but just a different title.
overall great books but buy one or the other, just check the contents page that you can read via amazon and you will see what i mean.

I could not put this book down once I picked it up. I can see that it may not appeal to some readers because of the title but there is a lot of positive energy to be found at the time of the dark moon. I particularly liked the phases of the moon meditation and have used it to very good effect - this coming from a person who usually finds meditation hard work! The rituals for each sign of the zodiac are also excellent and easy to follow or adapt for personal use. On the other hand, I argued with my friend over whether there is a distiction between the dark moon and the new moon which this book makes - but we each need to make our own personal decision about that and my friend and I agreed to differ! Well worth the read and a book which I shall cherish having on my bookshelf and which I shall regularly read.
