 Excellent Book September 6, 2008
I bought the book recently and I was dazzled by the information on every myth from all major ancient civilizations! Not only does it mention the usual Greek and Roman mythology, there's Indian, Persian, Chinese, Celtic and a whole lot more! It's a good, no, great book for all ages and anyone passionate about ancient times.

The illustrations in this book alone make it a worthwhile purchase. It gives an overview of the mythology of all the major cultures. The writing is wonderful, making the stories almost jump out of the page at you! I think it would make a great present for an interested child.
