Mallorean is one of my fav. series... I may say that Malloreon is David's best ever series...
FAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! March 2, 2006 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
I absolutly love this series! I think it compliments the Belgariad wonderfully and really allows the central charaters to develop furhter. Would recommend that the Belgariad is read first.

These are fantastic books and the fact that they are all in one volume (that isn't too hefty) means they are easily transportable, so you can enjoy them anytime, anywhere. I would recommend you buy volume 2 at the same time, so you can continue the journey as quickly as possible. I couldn't put them down! Eddings is a brilliant writer who never fails to deliver a enjoyable story that keeps you turning the pages. Highly recommendable to all fantasy genre lovers, and for fantasy first-timers a good place to start!
The Malloreon January 10, 2006 1 out of 20 found this review helpful
Absolute rubbish, after a few pages it becomes obvious that this series is utterly predictable and very similar to the Belgariad series. Characters are wafer thin and the plot is repetitive. I rather enjoyed the Belgariad, but this one was a rip-off.

What more can I say: Eddings doing what he does best!!! Brilliant, very readable, the conclusion to what started with the Belgariad and continued in the Mallorean part 1. Highly recommendable. Read them in order and see!!
