Arms and legs October 6, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I don't know why there is so much negative comment about this item. It is perfect for anyone who wants to crush an arm. I expect it could also crush legs and other anatomical parts if properly applied.
Can crusher that can't crush August 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Heavy Duty?????? This piece of rubbish bent up at the first attempt to crush a flimsy coke can. Don't waste your money.
False Advertisment. March 26, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Took delivery of my Heavy Duty Lever Arm Can Crusher in just 3 days. As for calling it "heavy duty"...I don't think so! Soon as I received it, my brother and I tried it on a empty can of peas by just holding the crusher bewteen us...nothing happened. I know it supposed to be screwed to the wall, but I wanted to make sure it worked BEFORE screwing it to the wall. I won't be screwing it to my wall now, as the only cans I buy are made of tin. The company should change their advertisement to, "it only crushes light aluminium cans", not cans made of tin".
Does what it says on the tin..for a while!!!!! March 2, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Just what we need, I thought when I bought this item, and it was,for about 3 months, then the arms bent and the machine would crush cans no more.I am looking for a better quality version.I have seen one with tubular arms. Any one any idea where to purchase??
Not for tin/steel cans January 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Maybee my fault for not researching enough but I assumed ordinary cans would be a pushover. The bottom shelf bent right down after 10 or so cans. I've put two self tapping screws above the bottom platform from front to back. Cut them off from the back and put in a fillet of metal glue to hold the screws and bottom shelf. See how it goes but I suspect i'll be back for the foot crusher before long.
