this book sucks. we got it given at school and its not very good - not enough detail, crappy annoying layout, waffly rubbish, its not clear!!! its ok as something to look at after lessons (kinda) but its hard to get an A just using this book for revision.
i advise people to buy the collins book as it covers aqa and it has way better layout, with simple and clear content. i suggest if you want an A you buy a revison guide also: eventhough im doing biology B course, i think im going to buy the biology A specification revision guide as it has more detail and it lets you get that extra understanding of the course to help you get an A. (i bought the A spec for AS and it helped loads)
i guess it depends how you revise and your preferences on content and layout of textbooks.
