This book is about a boy called Mike and a little girl called Polly (who is his cousin) and they love to listen to Dadci, their grandad, who tells them magical, out of this world stories and, unfortunately, Polly is silly enough to believe them!
One day, Mike realises they are not just folk tales but reality!

`The Sandman and the Turtles' is written by my all time favourite author, Michael Morpurgo. He has written over a hundred books, short stories and musicals which are well loved by children and adults alike.

It is one of the best books I ever read. It is a very adventurus book. Written by Micheal Morpurgo. It is set in St. Davids in West Wales and features some place you might see there. Whitesands Beach Treginis farm. I don't give this book 5 stars i give it ten.
