Badly made - great content February 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is great as long as you don't want your children to actually look at it. My son was given this book for Christmas and it had fallen apart by boxing day. I bought another copy because I thought we may just have received a bad copy and that too fell apart in a couple of days even though he did his best to be really careful with it. Very disappointing.
Falls apart October 16, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I totally agree with the previous reviewer. My children have several of the books in this range, and although the content is great, most of the pages are now scattered around the house as they have fallen apart. The worst-made childrens' books I have ever seen. Come on Top Trumps, you can do better than this.
Not a bad book but shoddy quality March 18, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I, or rather my 4 year old son, picked up a copy of this from a supermarket yesterday. In of itself it's not a bad little book with some good photos and information on the characters and stories that have appeared in the last two series of Doctor Who. Based on that and the price I would have rated it 4 stars. However the books are badly made - held together with that rubbishy glue binding that means the pages drop out when you open it too far - which you have to do with this book to see the photographs properly. I had two copies yesterday and both of them had fallen apart before we'd gotten out of the car park. Disappointing.
