If you watched and wondered "what if?" find answers in here April 23, 2005 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
In depth analysis provides some plausible explanations for the questions fans would no doubt have after watching this SciFi show. Format makes the at times quite overwhelming scientific info easier to digest for those readers more comfortable with their ignorance in science. Blended technical Experts with creative side from various Writers of the genre made book have full circle feel in its delving to answer the "what if"s readers might have. Nice touch choice of final part from actor of the show; a less known by the fans person's perspective of the fans; also liked the little quotes interspaced throughout.
a must have hit for the stargate tv series October 18, 2004 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
This book includes what actually goes into the creation of each episode, and includes the anthology behind the hit tv series Stargate featuring essays from archaeologist Sue Linder-Linsley, astronomer Sten Odenwald, parasitologist Francine M. Terry, philosopher Daniel Dennett, and science fiction author Melanie A. Fletcher. This book also includes the military side of Stargate and is a must have for any fan.
