Loved it! March 18, 2008 This was my first Lauren Henderson book and I only bought it because it was on offer. However, it was the first book that I couldnt put down! I have a tendency to start reading a book, get bored half way through and open another book. Exes Anonymous made me laugh, cry and I could relate to it in so many ways! I cant wait to read another of Lauren Henderson's stories!!
Pleasantly Surprised April 10, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had been avoiding this book for a while thinking it wouldn't be that good, I do admit I did buy it on impulse.
Once the story got going I couldn't put it down, I couldn't wait to see what happenned, but the story did seem a bit predictable.
Cliff hanger to the end. May 13, 2005 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
As this was the first book by Lauren Henderson that I have read I had no preconceived idea as to what to expect and was pleasantly surprised by the content of this 'chick lit' book! It was very insightful about relationships, funny with it, and had me desperate to find out what happens next. Right up until the last couple of pages it had me guessing as to the outcome and what would eventually become of the heroine's life. The love scene's were believable - unlike many over-written chick lit's - and saucy, the situations were ones that anyone can imagine themselves in, almost, and the people seem real as though this could be me and my friends in our lives- though I did feel as though Davey's character was underplayed from around halfway through and that could have been delved into a little more. I can hardly believe that I have not read anything by this talented autor before and plan to rectify that straight away by reading some previous works. Excellent!
