This book is brilliant, there's hardly anything I can grumble at. It's presented as a notebook, which makes it much easier to read at those times when you just want to lie out on your bed or sofa (no getting dead arms when the left or right page dictates which side you must lie on!) It is however larger than pocket size but would fit easily in a bag if you needed it for quick access.
The book has been especially useful for me as it categories the drugs in groups e.g. cardiac or pain ect so before going on placement you can get ahead on knowing the area's regular drugs.
The notebooks colourful and super for visual learners- it offers very good ways of how to remember drug names and what they do. It gives a paragraph of how the drug works- (for this one would need to know basic physiology and anatomy in order to really understand it) It lists contraindications, side effects and nursing implications of the drug and what to teach the patient.
This book is a fantastic way of learning all the regular drugs!
