Customer Reviews: Not bad but not one of the best books in the series November 15, 2008 I have worked my way through a large number of books in the "Very Short Introduction" series. Most are excellent although a few have been duds. I have also read a fair amount of economics previously. I found that the approach used in this book was rather unusual and made the book ssem rather mediocre to me. It seemed to me that this book tried to find examples that are a bit unusual but may have been better in such a small volume sticking to central concerns.
