5 out of 5 stars Class book   April 18, 2008
This book is a class journey through the life of a genius. Written objectively but by someone who cares, it's a reason to be cheerful. Frank

4 out of 5 stars Dury was a genius   July 25, 2007

I read this book because of a dream I had involving Dury. It's a wonderful introduction to his music & gives the reader interesting insight into his life. It's a shame Dury himself wasn't involved with the writing of this book. Dury was a lyrical genius.

4 out of 5 stars extremely informative   February 24, 2002

Well researched if somewhat sychophantic look into the life of ID. No stone unturned. This also sets the scene well for ID's entry to the music scene and effect on it. Also, his (unknown to me) time after the blockheads. Made me go out and buy "New Boots" again 20 years on. Well worth reading.
