Absolutely must for all those gullible who feel that "Islam is tollerant religion" November 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Absolutely brilliant book. Robert Spencer deserves a nobel prize for writing such a book. Brilliant book, until I read this book I really believed in all that propaganda about "how muslims are very peace loving and all that malarki." This book opened my eyes.

Anybody who forms a strong opinion on anything, not just Muhammad & Islam, based on one book is no better than a fool. You only have to look at the title of this book "The Truth about Muhammad Founder of the World's Most Intolerant Religion" to see what the author himself thinks. Very impartial from the start, the sign of a good writer!
Islam is a great religion but Muslims are not so great. Very few Muslims follow Islam the way they should, most just pick the bits they like. That is where the problem lies.
Most people I have come across in my life, and I am 50 - been around a bit, always find or highlight material that backs their own pre-conceived ideas & beliefs.
Read some more, a lot more.
Muslims will struggle to refute this excellent book July 21, 2008 17 out of 21 found this review helpful
Muhammad is supposedly a role model for ALL of humanity (not just 7th century Arabians). Yes the book is negatively one sided, but all the 'deeds' protrayed are sourced from Muslims writings (Quran, Hadiths). In a nutshell, he orders executions & murders, condones slavery, a polygamist with 13 wives, a paedophile, a warlord. Trying to be objective, it terrifies me that 1.2bn muslims revere him as a perfect role model.
Outrageous July 3, 2008 2 out of 40 found this review helpful
This is unfair and unjust. There are millions of Muslims who do not share the views of those that are portrayed in this book.
Informative and backed by evidence July 2, 2008 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
This author backs all his claims with evidence from respected islamic sources, which hold up to closer inspection. It is well written and it changed my view of Islam entirely. Maybe muslims should read this.
